Position Summary:

Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of assigned projects and Task Orders.  Work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. Supervise project/Task Order procurement activities, facilitate meetings and maintain communication with stakeholders to provide status of project/Task Order deliverables.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Lead the planning and implementation of Task Order(s)

-Facilitate the definition of Task Order scope, goals and deliverables

-Define Task Order activities and resource requirements

-Manage Task Order budgets

-Plan and schedule timelines

-Track Task Order deliverables using appropriate tools

-Provide direction and support to project team

-Constantly monitor and report on progress of the Task Order to all stakeholders

-Present reports defining Task Order progress, problems and solutions

-Implement and manage Task Order changes and interventions to achieve Task Order deliverables

-Perform Task Order evaluations and assessment of results

 

Experience:

 

- 12 yrs recent NC4I(S) or other relevant experience in the management of large programs and groups of senior personnel

 

-Managed programs should include financial tracking, task tracking and the coordination of engineering, technical support, manufacturing, installations, ILS support, quality control and field support

 

-Personnel managed should include lower level managers, senior engineers, senior technicians and senior support personnel.

 

 

-Desired candidate should be familiar with all aspects of a military C4I project to include scheduling, costs, resource planning, quality assurance and control, risk management and procurement.

-Familiar with a variety of the C4I field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

-Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

-Strong technical, managerial, interpersonal, written and verbal skills are a must.

-Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment as well as independently and provide direct interface with customers.

 Qualifications and Education Requirements

 

Required: 

Bachelors in any Engineering, Scientific, Business or Management Degree; Master’s in same.

 

Preferred: 

Master’s Degree

Experience working in a DOD, military or government agency environment
