Position Summary:

The Design/Test Engineer will perform activities including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement. The Design/Test Engineer collaborate with design/purchasing and shop/assembly teams on design projects. Responsibilities:

-Use specialized software to create models and drawings of products.

-Research new materials and methods of development.

-Organize and maintain existing engineering records.

-Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team.

-Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes.

-Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.

-Program Test and Evaluation duties, including test witnessing, data analysis, data recording and reporting.

-Support test execution, track test articles, record and analyze data, support deficiency reporting and resolution, and write test reports.

-Review and support sell-off of Requirements Verification Plans for system-level specifications.

-Plan and review test and verification resources to include modelling and simulation activities and test equipment needed to support test and verification.

-Prepare and execute required verification, validation, and accreditation plans for test assets.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelors in EE or other related field; Master’s in same &/or EE Schools or Certs in Comms or NARTE.

6 yrs recent C4ISR or other relevant EE experience in design, builds, installation, test, document and recommending corrective actions.
