Mark Cook
Director of Contracts Administration

Mr. Cook is responsible for all aspects of contract management for KES, Inc.. He is responsible for ensuring that this process is carried out in full compliance with established KES policies and procedures, applicable government regulations and standard good business practices.

Mr. Cook first joined KES Inc. in December 2004 as a Project Control Analyst. In this position he monitored actual project costs and commitments, administered subcontract efforts, prepared program review presentations, and produced financial deliverables as required per contract.

Prior to his experience with KES in 2004, Mr. Cook worked as a Contracts Coordinator Assistant and Government Property Administrator with Maxim Systems, Inc. in San Diego. From 2000 to 2003 he served as a Staff Accountant with Murrill, Eakes & Company, also in San Diego.

Mr. Cook is an active member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and was recently elected President for the San Diego Chapter. He was one of 38 individuals selected for the inaugural NCMA Leadership Development Program from which he graduated in June of 2007.

Mr. Cook earned a Master of Business Administration, with a finance emphasis, from the University of Redlands, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an accounting emphasis, from Hawaii Pacific University. He also earned a Professional Certificate in Contract Management from San Diego State University.
