[San Diego, CA – February 3, 2026] – Koam Engineering Systems Inc. (KES Inc.), an employee-owned business specializing in technology innovation and systems integration, today announced the promotion of three senior leaders to Chief-level positions, effective February 3, 2026.
Erica Tofson has been promoted to Chief Human Resources & Admin Operations Officer from her previous role as Vice President of Human Resources & Administrative Operations. Jonathan Kuo has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer from his previous role as Vice President of Operations. Mark Dani has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer from his previous role as Director of Accounting and Finance.
These leadership appointments reflect KES’s commitment to strengthening its executive structure as the company continues to grow and evolve. With an expanded leadership team, KES is enhancing cross-functional alignment and reinforcing the organizational foundation needed to support long-term performance and continued customer success.
As Chief Human Resources & Admin Operations Officer, Ms. Tofson will lead enterprise-wide talent strategy, workforce development, organizational planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Her focus will be on strengthening KES’s employee-owned culture while building scalable programs and systems that support growth and professional development across the organization.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Kuo will oversee company-wide operations and execution, driving consistency across programs and functional teams. His priorities include advancing operational effectiveness, strengthening internal processes and tools, and supporting enterprise-wide coordination to enable high-quality delivery and continued organizational agility.
As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Dani will lead financial strategy, planning, and oversight. In his expanded role, he will further strengthen financial forecasting, reporting, and long-range planning capabilities to support strategic decision-making and disciplined investment as the company scales.
